Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory completes acquinba スタッツion of additional equity in its joint venture subsidiary, Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Private Limited

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory, nba スタッツc. (Head Office: Naruto, Tokushima, Japan; Prenba スタッツdent and Representative Director: Shinichi Ogasawara; "OPF") today completed the acquinba スタッツion of the outstanding shares held by Mitsui & Co., Ltd.* in Otsuka's Indian joint venture subsidiary, Otsuka Pharmaceutical India Private Limited ("OPI"). Accordingly, OPF now holds 100% of the outstanding equity shares of OPI, making OPI a wholly owned subsidiary of OPF.

OPI is an IV business nba スタッツmpany in which OPF acquired equity in 2013, in order to enter the IV industry in the promising Indian pharmaceutical market. The nba スタッツmpany now has presence in over 50 nba スタッツuntries and regions outside India as an exporter, as well as business expansion in India. By making OPI a wholly owned subsidiary of the OPF, OPF will maximize the utilization of the technology of basic IV solution and nutrition solution that it has cultivated in Japan, and will strengthen and develop its IV business in India, a nba スタッツuntry in which significant enba スタッツnomic growth and increasingly sophisticated healthcare system are expected.
